Default Window Alignment

Hi everyone,

I recently replaced my driver side window motor and regulator (DIY). Everything works fine, however I am experiencing some wind noise when driving on the highway. It only starts around 100km/h (~65mph). Anyone have a guideline as to how align it perfectly? The window has 3 sections that need to be bolted to the regulator (as seen below). However, the regulator has a large opening so it makes it difficult to get it spot on (people who have done this before will know what I am talking about). I opened my passenger window and aligned it in the same way, however I am still getting wind noise on the driver side.

I already checked the GW manual but it doesn't give any detailed images. I found 2 previous threads regarding this topic however they didn't seem to get much attention.

And here's a pic of my Z... for those who are bored. No serious mods haha.

Any help is much appreciated!

Yep! It inches up and down like its supposed to. When you look at it from the outside, everything looks fine. The window needs to be bolted on in an exact method (down to the mm). Was just hoping someone had pictures of it bolted in so I could copy it as is. I checked the broken/stuck window motor thread but the OP didn't remove the window from the regulator.

Worst case scenario, I can go to Nissan and ask them to do it.

Two screws at the bottom of each rail; adj. them to tip the window in. Just a thought.
