Default Steering wheel is/feels extremely stiff

I just recently bought my 350z and right away I noticed how much force is needed to turn the wheel left and right when I'm turning.

I am just wondering is this how it is for every 350z? Or is there something that I need to fix, repair, or replace?

Thanks for all your help guys I appreciate it

What kind of car are you comparing it to? My civics steering was much lighter, so is my dd sentra. Overall i think the Z is a rough car, steering, clutch, shifter, etc, but i love it! It feels like a real mans car

The most performance cars have stiff steering; especially the Z. If I'm on a track, canyon road, or just driving and I need to swerve, I want stiffer steering. It (for me) prevents from over steering.

Mine is pretty stiff compared to most other cars iv driven, I really like it.

To check that you're in spec, at least when it comes to the 08 model, it's 66 in-lb of pulling force. You can measure it with a fish weight scale.

Check your tire pressures.
