Default Codes p0303 and p0340

I was driving last night, car went into limp mode, SES, VDC off and SLIP light all came on and stayed on, car had trouble starting, pulled 2 codes, p0303 and p0340. Would p0340 (camshaft position sensor) be causing p0303 (cylinder 3 misfire)? If i replace the camshaft sensor, should that also fix the other code?

My car has had pretty bad oil consumption for the past 30k miles.

Yes.
Lately there has been a few posts regarding cam position sensors.
After one goes out, your dash will light up with "everything" looking
like its going out.Its quite posible that replacing the sensor will fix
the misfire code.Suggest you get a OEM sensor not aftermarket.
I don't see how the cam sensor would be related to your oil consumption
problem.

Yea i read a few other threads regarding this problem but wasnt sure if the camshaft sensor could also be causing cylinder 3 to misfire. I had the Drivers side one replaced last year with an oem sensor. Will be going oem again. Thanks!

Some owners replace both if one goes out.If the code indicates bank #1
,passenger side,it sure is easier to to replace.
Hopefully that will solve your problem.
