Hey, I have an HR 6mt G35 sedan.

I have had this strange hesitation at part throttle high gear for a long time. AFRS would spike and the car would jerk. Car also had a poor idle.

Well, I recently unplugged the two sensors connected to each VTC cover and drove the car for 2 weeks with the CEL illuminated with the appropriate codes. No hesitation, great idle, everything is absolutely dandy (except for the power loss). I bought the car second hand, and I didnt know the VQ could ever run so smooth. Cleaning behind the covers, and reinstalling does not help.


Looking this up, I found that these covers cost a sweet 500 bucks a pop! Now does anyone have any experience with this, or any suggestions before I drop a grand on this repair?
