Default G35 problem, stumbles in closed loop ,,,

Hi Guys,

I know this is not a Z problem, But i'm posting here since this forum has more people who can help.

I have a 05 G35, Engine has about 66K miles with no mods but test pipes. The car starts and idles fine, No misfire. The car drives great for the very first few minutes after starting it cold, But once the temp needle starts rising, The car will literally fall on its face, No power under 3000 RPM with partial throttle.

When that happens, I push the pedal to the floor & the car will rev high and drive fine.

I check for codes almost daily, But no codes. Checked timing with cipher and it was 15 at idle.

Any Ideas ?

Thanks,

Could be many things,

- Use a vacuum gauge and see if you there's any leak after it reaches the normal running temp.

- Find a scanner and log the activity of the front O2 sensors, See if they are switching or no.

- Check the plugs & coils, Coils mostly fail because of heat .

Just trying to throw some ideas.

Good luck,

I noticed that the timing advance jumps up to about 37 & some times 40 while cruising at low rpm, Is this normal ???
