Hey guys...

Have an 03 350z with 70k on it...

I have a random misfire cel p0300 and can not shake the misfire.

So far I have:
Replaced the plugs
Replaced the coil packs with verified running used OEM coils
NOID tested the injectors
Had my cylinders scoped
Checked for compression
Used injector cleaner
Brought it to the Nissan Dealership
Brought it to my local tuning shop
Thought about driving this damn car off a bridge!!!!

Nissan is telling me that I need to replace all 6 coilpacks with BRAND NEW oem coils at a whopping $800 price tag... and the kicker is if they don't work I can't return them....

As I have said I have replaced all 6 coils with WORKING coils out of the same year z.....

Would you buy the coils? or what would be the next step you would take?

valve seals leaking oil?

 

I know my valve cover gaskets are leaking a little oil down into the spark plug well but not enough it seems to cause concern...

If the valves seals were leaking would that cause a misfire? It doesn't look like I am burning much out the back

 

yes. it definitely could cause a misfire issue. well known problem with these engines.
