So a couple weeks ago I made a fairly hard 1 to 2 shift and the shifter spun around backwards (is not loose) and was very sloppy while shifting afterwards. It was also very difficult to shift into 5th and 6th gear as it would tend to try and shift to 3rd or 4th instead. This morning when shifting from 2nd to 3rd the shifter gave out and now I can rotate the shifter in a full circle as if the linkage has come off completely. Is this something I can get to myself at home or do I need to have this towed to a shop?
