Default Start-up problem need help!

Hey guys I just bought an 04 Z and recently I had an issue where the car wouldn't start. I checked the battery which was fine. I called the dealer asking them what could possibly be wrong. They asked me to look for a chord hanging down next to the clutch and the pull down on it before I start the car. I did, and it started up which is great but you have to pull at a precise angle. I have no idea where it plugs into, I'm not seeing any place on the clutch for it. And last night, I tried starting it up, pulled at every conceivable angle and it wouldn't start at all.

The dealer said it is a common occurrence where it unplugs. Anybody else have this happen to them or can tell me how to fix it?? Much appreciated!

Nevermind guys. the peice i needed to hook into the clutch was in my glove box. I just screwed it in and plugged in the chord. Im dumbfounded how the dealer either didn't notice this part laying around in a trade in, or decided tape was a better way of putting it together.
