350z HR low rpms problem
Hi,
I have my car, I have been to several workshops and so far only lost money paying for nothing.
Car specification:
350z coupe, late 2007 year (HR model), 90k kilometers ~56k miles
What is wrong:
The problem manifests only at low throttle.
1. The car is unstable on low rpm, it is not accelerating fluently (low throttle) the rpms do not go steadily up but have some pauses
2. Sometimes when I slowly release clutch/ press gas pedal while heaving the rpms around 1,9k-2,3k it can start “jumping” the rpms do not settle on the set value and w/o the clutch pressed the whole car is thrown forward and backwards as the rpms are going 0,5k up and down.
3. I noticed that when I drive on no matter what speed or rpm without the gas pedal pressed and I do press it fast the car is not going forward right away, rpms go up then fall down and then the car starts going fluently forward. (does not happen when I press gas pedal slowly)
What I have done so far:
1. I have been to several workshops including Nissan and number of mechanics couldn’t help me.
2. I tried different fuel: 95, 98, 100 nothing changed
3. I have changed sparks (sparks were used in different degree-some were so used that they were burned and others were looking OK – all of them were dry – no oil) , checked coils, cleaned throttle body, changed MAFs to new ones.
4. The main problem is computer does not show any error and the car is not 100% OK
Other info
1. I have used for several hundred kilometers mono mass fly wheel but since I did not like the chattering I had my oem dual mas repaired and reinstalled
2. It feels like after some speed driving the problem occurs less frequently compering to time when car is cold.
3. As I was checking air cables going to mainfold I noticed somebody used too long screw for plastic cover and broke in to mainfold, however when the screw is there I didnt notice any leak
Mechanics tell me to wait and when it breaks they will know what to fix however I am driving like that for 1,5 year and so far due to this unsteady rpm I only noticed my powertrain getting broken

@Jah70
Ok, I did ECU reset via gas pedal, did not help.
I do not know anything about plenum spacer, I haven’t touched that I believe.
@350zsunshinefl
yes,
Here you can see rpms "shaking" after I shift to 2 and slowly drive forward
Here is a tremble after I press gas pedal when driving on 3rd shift
[ame="http://youtu.be/3q52YRmX5Ho"]
[/URL]
when it happens the whole car is struggling and i even can here dual mas clapping as car goes forward and backwards.
@alby13
It might not be so easy to judge which part might be causing problems since It can be that motor is showing problems when it is transmitting power or either the power train is %&#@Y# up
"You may want to visit a Nissan/Z specialist." It is kinda problematic since there are very few of those cars around and i dont think we got such a specialist, especially concering most of Zes are not HR.

Spray the hole with some propane or some carb cleaner. If the engine's idle changes, there's your problem. Any air/vacuum leak after the MAF sensor is going to affect engine performance. It actually makes sense that it's happening at low idle, since that's when the engine's going to be most sensitive to the leak. Get the hole welded or replace the manifold. Don't use J-B Weld (that stuff is garbage).
