The jack stands they show don't have tops like mine. I'm suspecting they won't work on mine.

Anybody that has a set want to take a picture of the underside for me?

May disrupt aerodynamics if left off...

Nissan forgot to attach 3 of the 6 screws that hold it on my last oil change... I reamed them for that - just plain laziness there.

On a side note, anyone know if adding this will allow the plastic cover to fit still??

Oil pan spacer: http://www.performancenissanparts.co...roducts_id=741

Just curious... thanks!

dunno about the oil pan spacer.

After I took the cover off and changed the oil for my first time I realized it would be best to put the cover back on. As you say, aerodynamics plus I'm sure it provides some degree of protection.

Btw, used Mobile 1 Synthetic 5W-30.

I've tried many different kinds of filter wrenches, but the best one for everyday use is the one that looks like a huge socket. However, if the filter is stuck, this one works best:

It's Sears item #00946955000 Mfr. model #46955

It crushes the snot out of the end of the filter, but it has removed every stuck filter I've tried it on. Plus, it's only $7.

I could never get the strap kind to not slip, especially if there's stuff in the way like the exhaust manifold.
