I've got a 2005 Z with the AT, and have recently been having issues with the transmission. It's having issues engaging in reverse, sometimes taking 10+ seconds to engage, others its nearly instant. Anyone have any ideas as to what the problem might be?

 

When was the last time you had the tranny fluid changed?.... And make sure to use S or J matic... Also while you are at it, have you serviced the rear diff ever?

 

I've only had the vehicle for about 25,000 miles and since I've had it I haven't had the tranny fluid changed and i haven't serviced the rear diff since i've owned it either. But I don't want to take it to the dealership to have them look at it and end up paying a stupid amount of money if it's something i can do
