Default Identify this part

Hey everyone. I need some help identifying this part so I can purchase a new one and have it replaced. It's slightly damaged and is making an unpleasant noise when I rev over 4krpm. Took it to a muffler shop and they narrowed it down for me. They said it was just a cover rattling.

Also, I asked my friends and they said that's the catalytic converter, and after doing some research on google and other websites where I can buy the part, I'm not so sure that that exact part is the converter. If I purchase a new catalytic converter, will that part be included? Or is it a completely separate piece.

Thanks,
Troy

I assume your friends don't know anything about cars.

As Advan said, it is the Y-Pipe.

You can find one used on this forum fairly cheap.

What year is your car? If 06 or under the HR Y-pipe is a pretty nice and cheap upgrade.
