So I'm trying fix the sucky range of my key fob, and seeing as I've already replaced both the battery of the key fob and the remote itself, I figured the next step is to replace the keyless control unit.

I'm trying to find the location of this unit and for the life of me I can't figure it out. I took the lower passenger dash out and in the spot where the diagram says the part is, there is a part that says 40720 and is some sort of tire pressure sensor receiver. Can anyone tell me where the part actually is??
