Hello All,

I'm not sure whether this would be more appropriate in this forum or the interior/styling forum, but I recently was attempting to repair the cupholder in the dash of my 03 350z.

After purchasing the new one and replacing it in place of the old one, I realized that once closed, it would not spring into action.

What I came to realize is the piece that actually holds the cup holder is missing the spring that is normally present. The piece pictured below:



I have already taken a look at interior diagrams, and unless I am missing something, it doesn't seem like this part is listed. Is there any way to buy this cup holder "holder"?

If you bought your cup holder new from Nissan and it didn't come with that bracket, then I would assume it's attached to the panel. It's listed as "Panel-Instrument Lower, Assist" on courtesyparts.com # 68108-Z33011.
