2003 Coolant Leak
I've got an 03 Touring Z AT 134,000 miles.
I noticed a coolant puddle about a week ago and finally got time to put it up on jacks to figure out what's going on.
The leak is generally left towards the driver side of the engine bay towards the back.
I recently replaced the spark plugs and so had to take off the whole intake manifold. At first I thought my coolant leak was a loose or damaged hose from the the manifold but I checked out those hoses and everything was dry.
I jacked it up and the coolant seems to be dripping down and around the bell housing of the transmission and down to the frame bracing. I can't really get a good look of where it's coming from.
I briefly had an overheating problem from a stuck thermostat and for a while after I would overheat any time the car was climbing a hill, but I replaced the thermostat, flushed the coolant, and added Water Wetter.
It still runs hotter than normal, as I diagnosed through my Torque app. Typically in the 100F+ range. Fans are always on, never kick off at all.
I was thinking my radiator might be bad too since the fans are running, the temperature goes down with increased revs, so I know my water pump is working.
