Dual Mass Flywheel
Hi
Just bought a 2003 350Z Touring in Oct, & I am in the process of replacing the clutch over the winter layup.
I removed the pressure plate & clutch disc & had my first look at a dual mass flywheel.
I noticed that there is some rotational free play between the 2 flywheels, probably 3/8", if you rotate it by hand. I am wondering if this is normal.
I have a service manual & couldn't find anything on this. I also searched on this site with no luck. Some of the symptoms of a bad flywheel that were talked about in my search aren't present in my 350Z.
I would appreciate any input on this.
Thanks
