Alright so I haven't driven my 350z in a month why because I'm having issues with my transmission. First my gears were grinding 2nd 3rd 4th and 5th gear in turned out to be a bearing went out then i put everything back together then everything was fine a week passed 5th gear and only 5th gear started to grind. It turned to be ring baulk but now nissan is telling me i have to replace main drive shaft with part number 32200-51d because they did an update.i ordered the part 2 weeks ago hasn't gotten here im growing inpatient. What can i do it terms of getting my car fixed should i just replace the transmission? anyone with similar problems? how can it take this long they told me the part is coming from Tennessee well im in L.A should it take that long?

 

2003-200(6?) had issues with the synchro's going bad and caused grinding during shifts, more notably in 3rd and/or 5th. You may fall into that bracket. If so, I'd replace the transmission with the newer model in the 07-08, it's coded CD009. Will cost around 3k-4k at the dealership installed.
