Ok so when I got my z everything worked great. I installed an aftermarket stereo and after hooking the battery back up my dome light was stuck on, it kept beeping like I left the lights on or left the keys in the ignition and it also had the door ajar light on and also the key fob would only lock and unlock. The other 2 features on the fob would not work. After about an hour of driving around it realized that a door wasn't open and stopped dinging. But once it started doing that my dome light would only come on when the key was in the ignition and I still can only lock and unlock from fob.

Well have you tried disconnecting the radio? It sounds like you installed it wrong or some how messed up the security on it.

 

to me it sounds like you messed something up somehow/somewhere.

 

I wonder if you blew some sort of fuse (trunk pop) and tapped into a dimmer wire which is causing issues with your dome light. Either way I would recheck your work and make sure all fuses are good.
