Default I Think My Axle Snapped? Help Needed

Hey guys so my axles have been clicking for a while now and today I was on the freeway and heard a loud clunk and the car wouldn't accelerate in gear. A few days ago I was installing new studs and the axle spline? Came off and I had to push it back in I'm guessing that's related to what happened today. I need help finding which part I need to replace. Thanks in advanced !

Crawl under the car and take a look. Impossible to diagnose from a distance.

If the axle is pulling out of the hub the nut is missing and you need to replace it.

When you revved up and it wouldn't move in gear was something banging around sounding like a midget locked in a metal box with a hammer?

The correct term is "little person".

Yes!! That's exactly what happened I would drive to rev and it would make a deep metal crunching noise!

Yep. Sounds like a broken or loose CV shaft.

Either the nut came off the end and it came out of the hub, the boot ripped and it came out of the socket or you broke it.

Slide under there and look.

Also, pics of the carnage plzkthxbai.

the nut on the hub is there, the part where it came out and i had to push in was on the other side more towards the center of the car closest to the differential, I'm at school right now and by the time i get home it'll be dark so ill post pictures tomorrow.

is this the right part to buy to replace? and how hard is it to replace?

Probably. But you need to get under there and look at it first. Don't buy parts till you know what's broken.
