Remove Roof Clip
Hello All,
The grip that holds the (driver side) visor in place was lose for a while. I procrastinated a bit and yesterday the wire connecting to the visor snapped and the visor assembly came apart. Due to this all the cabin/trunk lights are off.
Does anyone know the best way to remove the clamp attached to the roof - where the hole is for the visor to stick into?
I saw a post about the visor clip removal - this is not the visor clip; this is the flat triangular piece attached to the roof. I tried to pry it with a flat-head screwdriver; but was wondering if anyone knew a better way to do it.
(Once I remove that I guess I can connect/tape some extra wire.)
Thanks,
-R

I removed my visor just last weekend
To remove the visor pry off just the triangular cover to expose 2 screws.
Then remove the screws. In your case the wire is already snapped so it will fall off
Don't just tape it. Do it right with some connectors from a hardware store. The loss of power might be because the wires might have touched themselves or the metal edge of the hole in the roof where they pass creating a short. Check the fuse
