Default 06 overheating problem

Forgive me if this has been talked about on here prior, i did try searching for answer but couldn't find exactly what I need to know...

My '06 recently started overheating. While driving the temp needle is close to the top line, it fluctuates between 70% and 90% while driving. At first, I figured my coolant was low and it was. So I used my 50/50 coolant and filled it up where it should be. Didn't do the trick. Car still overheats and the driver side fan runs. Don't understand.

Couple of things. First, stop driving it until you fox the problem, and you need to find out where the coolant loss was. Are the fans working, is the thermostat opening? Leaking hoses or radiator? Any steam/smoke or sweet smell from the exhaust?

Once you get that stuffed checked/fixed, you need to properly refill and bleed the system. You can't just pour in the coolant and cap the system. Have a look at this thread:

Also, learn to search for answers on this forum before asking basic questions like this. The 350Z in now ~12 years old, so virtually anything you can think of has been covered before. Start with the Top 100 FAQs.

Be careful when refilling/bleeding to ensure no air gets stuck in the lines. May be a thermostat-related issue too.

No steam or smoke from exhaust and nothing is leaking. Going to try the suggested bleeding of the lines Tomorrow. Thanks guys.
