My '05 350z convertible top was only going down every once in a while, so I took it to the Nissan dealership and they told me that the diode that makes it go down was going bad and that I could either replace it or whenever it doesn't go down just wiggle the diode and it would probably work. Only problem is he didn't tell me where it was located and I forgot to ask. I tried looking it up on the internet and found nothing. I would just buy a new one but I'm strapped for cash and I'm guessing they are expensive because he told me I could get a cheap one at a junkyard. Can anyone help me out with this?
