2003 350z high idle issues and sluggish performance help !!!
2003 350z pretty much stock with k&n filter and 5/16 plenum spacer.
At startup the rpm runs about 1500 then drops to about 700 after a few minutes and oil pressure is high as well then drops as the rpms drop.
Not sure why that is or everyone getting the same ? Its 80s up here in new York right now so idk why it would need to “warm up”
This might not be related but also the car seems sluggish – I bought the car used and it was always like this but doesn’t seem as quick as other z’s I been in with stock/little mods.
I have a slight exhaust leak toward the back muffler but no 02 codes ever – so I don’t see how that would impact anything and sometimes get a P0011 code – intake camshaft position timing over-advanced (bank 1) but I have changed out the camshaft and crankshaft sensors already for the passenger side. That code only comes up 1x in maybe 1,500 miles give or take.
Almost at the point of giving up on the z and getting something else. I have done a full tune-up etc and cant seem to resolve the issue.
Hoping someone been there and dealt with this and can shed some light.

First off, do you have a tune?
Running high, then dropping is normal.
I don't see what the problem is? You know of an issue (exhaust leak) yet you won't fix it because you "don't think it could be the problem."
If you keep getting the same code after replacing sensors, the problem isn't the sensors. durrrr.
