I believe it's normal for electric TB to close smooth and a bit slow; I assume this is to reduce bucking when you let off the gas. I was messing around after I read this thread and noticed if I quickly push in clutch right after releasing gas RPMs will blip 100-300 but if I wait just a tad (literally probably .25s) it will be much smoother, which is how I shift during normal driving.

I wish my car was smooth. If miss time my shifts even by a tiny bit it bucks like a bull gone mad. But when I'm hooning it's smooth like fruit punch spiked with vodka.

That's my experience. If I'm wringing her out she is fairly smooth but if I try to take it slow I get the bucking bronco effect.

The only car I've had that was worse to drive was my 04 Audi S4 with the V8. The manual trans and clutch in Sasha were by far the worst combo I've ever tried to drive.

When I test drove a new 370 they sort of fixed the bucking problem but the transmission still makes a horrible noise even on a brand new 370 with barely any miles.

Anyone else have an issue with the car feeling hesitant during the first 10ish minutes of driving? It's not something that happens every day perse, but occasionally it feels like it lags and then catches. Almost like a very slight misfire.

I notice that sometimes as well sometimes in the morning it feels like the car just gained like 1000lbs. I've been wondering what that is as well.

I think you might be referring to the clunky transmission. The car's transmission has to warm up with a bit of driving. With new gear oil (certain ones differ) should get rid of this or at least minimize the time for it to smooth out with driving.

Just switched to redline diff and trans fluid. However, my rear diff bushing is shot so that's probably contributing. The whiteline bushing kit is on the way so hopefully that helps

so this morning less than 5 miles into my cruise I pulled into a gas station. Foot off the gas ease onto the clutch and my 03 Z did this same thing. I think it may have done it before and I just never paid attention. after it warmed up the problem seemed to go away.
