My driver side door opens from the outside and not from the inside. I can open my passenger side door and it makes a clicking sound and when I tried opening my driver side, it doesn't make that clicking noise. What would I do to be able to fix this problem?

 

Take the door panel off, super easy, and the problem is likely lurking in there somewhere. Is a pretty simple system.

You'll only need a phillips and maybe a flathead to pop off the switch connectors. Search and download the FSM to find a diagram and step by step procedures. It should be the first place you look before you do anything to your Z, even before searching the forums lol.

Hey at least your window motors still work so you can reach out and open the door. Sucks when a window motor goes out and your outer handle breaks as well (two other common problems with the Z). Inner handle is not as common that ive seen.
