Default Help! 3rd gear won't engage...

I've searched tirelessly through threads and most don't really seem like they are have the same problem. But they are similar.

So yesterday I was driving home and made a turn shifted into 3rd and for some reason it wouldn't engage. I've been trying to diagnose it afterwards yesterday and today after work. I have a 2003 Touring 6MT, 151,xxx miles. No mods but pop charger. While driving today I tried to shift into 3rd then the car started hesitating, RPMs would rise but no power to the wheels, I immediately pushed in the clutch and tried shifting to 2nd and was locked out of every gear.... Came to a complete stop then went into first just fine. Then parked the car and went to see if the **** would pop out of 3rd from a stop but NOTHING happened. It stayed in 3rd as if t were in neutral. Please and help and input on what else to try to diagnose would be nice. Thanks in advice!

So you got it to go into 3rd but it bogged the engine, then you couldn't get it in any gear (no grinding) until you came to a complete stop, got it in first, then I guess babied it back home and parked it.

Then sitting still you stuck it in 3rd and now it wont come out?

No, the car was on in neutral then I shifted into 3rd and no stalling as if it were in neutral. It only happens in 3rd. But just right now I drove shifted from 2nd to 3rd and rpms dropped but car kept rolling as if were in neutral no bogging. Thanks for the reply.
