What needs to be done here?
So I think I found whats making that knocky crank sound when I turn while parked and hitting dips. But its not the ball joint itself, its the bolt to the control arm. What would cause this? I also noticed my hotchis sway bar links aren't slanted a the same angle. It looks like the ball joint is lower and just need be tightened up into that little pocket. Should I just replace the ball joint, I mean I have 85,000 miles on them, so might as well. Right?
I think I know what to do, I just would like your suggestions before I go through with a repair like this.
