Hey. So I have a grinding issue when shifting from 2nd to 3rd gear. Based on what I read on the forums, it seems I need to swap my tranny. I can get my friend's tranny, but need a trustworthy mechanic who can do it for a low price ($300). On a tight budget.... Since there seems to be a lot of knowledgeable members, can anyone suggest a trustworthy mechanic or a 350z fanatic (can do it on their own) located in Queens or Long Island, NY? Appreciate the help.

 

Could if you were in SC . Check fluid/change. GL
