Default Driver side window problem 2003 350Z

Hello everyone,

I'm looking for some guidance regarding a window problem on my 2003 350Z touring model. Symtoms: (1) window works intermittently; (2) window does not move up when door is closed; (3) when window is not working, if I open the door and push down on the window, then operate the window switch the window starts to go down. Sometimes it will go back up. If it does not go back up I push down on the window then operate the window switch and the window goes back up. I don't think the motor is bad because it would not work at all if the motor was shot. Will resetting the motor fix this issue? Also, how difficult is it to take off the door panel? Are there any special tools required to take off the door panel? Any assistance/guidance is appreciated.

Mark
