Opinions on aftermarket knock sensors
It seems there are a wide range of knock sensors available and I question the quality of all of the aftermarket ones. They all look the same and it's an extremely small part as well so I can't imagine there is much to it though so if I could save money over an overpriced OEM part that would be great. Prices range from $9 to over $100 for OEM so the price difference is fairly substantial. I'm wondering if anyone that has replaced theirs could chime in as to whether it has been fine and for how long?
I'll be going under all the intake assembly to replace the knock sensor sub harness as I have a P0327 code for it replacing all of the recommended throwaway gaskets. I want to replace the knock sensor as well in case it actually is the problem, and I obviously don't want to be taking it apart again either to test multiple sensors or remove a faulty one because I'll need to buy even more gaskets.
