Lightbulb Just bought me Z and need help with some lights.

I purchased my first Z last week.
It's a 2005 Enthusiast Convertible.
There are some items that arent functioning.
I searched and noticed a lot of similar posts but none are like mine.
The following things dont work:
The turn signals (when I lock the car, the turn signal bulbs flash front and rear but when I indicate to turn, none of the lights flash and the filaments on the bulbs all look good.)
The turn signal indicator lights on the cluster don't come on when indicating or when the hazards are on.
(When I put the hazards on, the front and rear turn signals blink.)
The license plate lights.
The horn (when I lock the car, the horn honks.)
Cruise control doesn't work.
The air bag light is flashing constantly while driving.

I completed the auto active test and everything works except the horn and turn signals (front and rear) as well as the license plate lights don't come on during the test. The hazards

I've checked all the fuse boxes and there are no blown fuses.
The car was at the shop for a couple day after I purchased it and found these issues. The shop said that they believe that maybe the flashing airbag light could be due to the clock spring. I don't know if maybe the clock spring could also be responsible for the other issues. I took it in to have the ball joints, tie rods, valve cover and gaskets replaced and a tune up (spark plugs and one ignition coil was replaced)

Any suggestions would greatly appreciated.

Yeah, sounds like your clock spring is bad. That'd explain the horn, air bag and cruise control anyway. Not sure if the turn signals would be connected as well, but it's possible. I'd start with that and go from there.

Thanks. I'm going to see if there is some troubleshooting procedure to determine if that's part of the cause. I also read that the IPDM could be the culprit for the turn signals, license plate light, etc.

To me, because of all the problem points, it's more of a pain diagnosing issues with the IPDM than the clock spring. Maybe you should take it in, like Trav says.

I will eventually do that. But I was hoping someone might have an idea of what it could be now that I've replaced the IPDM.

Nobody can properly diagnose it over the internet, continue to throw parts at it or spend some of that money to know exactly what it is

Was the car deconstructed and put back together before it was sold? If the seats got removed and reinstalled they could have pinched the wiring harness that runs on the drivers side of the car...

But thats mostly a wild guess
