Mhmm I don't decaf remember seeing bubbles. So I'll do it again.

look/watch for air bubbles and with the reservoir filled to the line it should drop almost all the fluid into the clutch master cylinder add more fluid to the reservoir till the level stays keep pumping the rod 10- times or so just to make sure. Then you should be good to hook it back up.

The reason you put the MC into a vice is so you can get leverage on the rod/plunger and push all the way in. It takes some force and make sure the rod/plunger gets pushed all the way in and out to get all trapped air out the MC.
