Default camshaft position sensor connector help

So today i replaced the driver side(bank2) camshaft position sensor and the connector will not go onto the new sensor. The green tab clicked and i pulled it off, but now the green tab stays down and will not click back when i put it onto the new one. Can someone help me?

Did you use an OEM or aftermarket sensor?

I know not everyone agrees with my philosophy on these, but when it comes to replacement sensors, stick with OEM. Nissan particularly hates aftermarket parts.
