Car is not starting (sitting for 2 1/2 years).

Bought a new battery yesterday and tried to start it but failed (car does crank over). Car had a known misfiring issue before it sat. Can the spark plugs go bad from just sitting?

But honestly get rid of that old gas first then try again

Used a Maxiscan MS300 scan tool and it wasn't able to pull any codes.

I wouldn't be worried about codes. Stick to finding spark like I said

I just wanted to do that real quick cause I had a scanner available. I'm gonna check the spark on Thursday. 👍🏽
