Default mass air flow sensor

Hi guys, im Jordi and new here and i come from the Netherlands.

If have a question about te mass air flow sensor. about a week ago i checked the sensors with an OBD comp and it tells me, that with a cold enige the temperature from the mass sensor was 150 degrees.
So i had bought a new one and is tells me that the temperature is 140 degrees. (same problem).

Is someone familiar with this problem ??

Thanks.

So you only have the one MAF. Sounds like your IAT is reading way off. Did it throw a code or did you catch the temp while doing a live scan?

Does the car sit outside or in a garage? Did you check temp reading from a "cold engine" after the car was sitting in the sun a while? Do you have a stock intake? Any work done that could have screwed up your wiring harness? Did you test the voltage coming out of the IAT?

With a live scan. And stand outside and I think the sun wasn't that powerfull that day. But 140 degrees is a lot and it wasn't warm under the hood.

I have a K&N typhoon intake. The wiring Is tight by the MAF. Because the position is to much to the right side. And saw nothing on the wiring so far.

No test for the volts, I will do that tomorrow.
