Do I have Clutch Burned?
I just learned to drive stick and rented a Opel Adam.
At one point I kept stalling the car by trying like 5-10 time to start the car by accidentally putting it in 3rd gear to accelerate. Then I started smelling some burning smell. I then realized I wasn't putting it in 1st.
Because its a rental & insurance doesn't cover the clutch, I'm scared I might have burned it. I drive better now albeit rusty but hoping when I return it, I don't get a $1000 bill.
Any chance I burned the clutch? How can I tell myself? Seems to be riding fine now.
