Default Key stuck. I really need some help.

The key turns forward fine, I can start the car, but it won't go to (lock 0), so I'm not able to pull the key out. Steering wheel is not locked. It's a 2006 5at touring. Recent mod I did was changed the shift ****, but Its been working fine. On a side note, my key was stuck last night, but all I did was good my brake and the key came out. Obviously not working today. Please help, this is very frustrating. Thanks in advance.
Edit: I swear I've searched this forum already for a solution and have went through 7 pages of Google. Id love to be proven wrong if the solution is on this forum. Thanks again.
again.

I'm assuming the key is "Stuck in the ignition". Never heard of this before, that sucks to hear.

Have you tried doing what this site said?

There are a lot of youtube vids on this also I would watch them and get more ideas to try to remove it.

SOLVED.

After hours and hours of frustration. I just put my car in the automanual gear, and I shifted to park very quickly and my key came out. I'm not gonna delete it, just in case this happens to someone else... Very annoying, hope my suffering helps somebody!

Sounds like you need a new ignition lock cylinder.
