changed the 6 pin harness to 8 pin everything works(even drl leds) except high beams. if lights are off and i pull the high beam stick towards me the lights come on but just low beams still come on. Just curious if anyone knows what wire i messed up? also anybody have the zspeed aluminum engine splash shield with the v3 nismo bumper? does it fit perfect? thanks and keep those Z's shiny side up

 

So you're trying to run HID specified Depo headlights on a non-HID 350Z.. ??

 

There's only one bulb, as I'm sure you know, for the high and low beam, and there is a shutter that opens for the high beam. Using a voltmeter, make sure you have voltage on the lead which opens the shutter, and if not, trace it bck from there. The schematics are available online, and there is a huge thread here about the Depo light install.

To use ZSpeed undershround with a Nismo V3, you need the extension panel that ZSpeed sells. But, if you're using an aftermarket bumper, not telling on the fit, because they're all different,

 

Not trying its done... got morimoto 55w ballasts and their 5300k d2s bulbs(huge improvement but miss highbeams). Thinking about getting vicrez v3 bumper with the zspeed.

 

That's an impressive cut off line. Looks sharper than my OEM. Maybe I should swap the lens on mine.

Bulbs can make a huge difference. I once bought a cheap set of Chinese-made bulbs, and the beam pattern and cutoff were crap. I thought one light wasn't even on. Precision is required in placement of the bulb capsule relative to the inside of the lamp.
