Angry Car Cranks but won't start

Hi guys,

Quick details:
2006 350z
Owned since July 2018
117k miles
ran fine before this, changed valve cover gasket (driver side) and now it cranks but won't fire up. I've taken everything apart again and checked for any loose connections but can't seem to find any.

I did make a small mistake and forgot to unplug the battery before changing the valve cover. Does anybody have any sort of idea of what could cause this? The NATS light stays on when the key is turned to the second position. It'll just crank and crank but never fire up...

Had a auto locksmith come out and take a look at the car. he tried reprogramming the keys but was unable to get in . However, he was able to pull the codes 1610: immobilizer locked and 1614: no comms ecu to immobilizer.

Anybody else run into this issue? Is this just a "tow it to the dealer and empty your pockets" kinda situation?

So the ecu isn't talking to the immobilizer eh? Did you take out or unplug ANYTHING electrical? Also a quick search produced a youtube video (not busting your *****) , Play around with all of his recommendations and see if you get anything. Once in a blue moon my immobilizer forgets to unlock but I shut off the car, wait a minute, hit the unlock button on my remote and try again. That usually works for me.

Yeah while changing the valve cover I ended up disconnecting the coil packs and plugs. Battery also ended up dying halfway through and had to jump start it the first time. Thanks for the video, I feel like I've tried everything on YouTube about the topic multiple times now but with no luck...

Update / Closure: hauled the fat pig to the dealership and had them reprogram the key. Fires right up..... no real reason why this happened but at least it runs now.................
