03 350z P0300
Hello, first time here. But I currently have a 03 350z (enthusiast) trim & I drove the car for 3k miles so far ever since i owned it & its mostly drives that are 15 miles. the z has been good til this code popped up. I replaced the camshaft sensor on the driver side and the passenger side was changed few months ago. i checked all 6 spark plugs changed them to all new and then the CEL came on but has now turned off. I drove the 15 miles to work DROVE perfectly fine. then left the car off since 2 got off work at 11 & i let the car warm up and started driving once i was half way home the CEL came on but started flashing slow but i pulled off to the gas station & turned off the car for a solid 5 mins tried it again and the light disappeared, drove the car again back home at 45 mph and the cel didnt come back on. ill be posting a video of the exhausts sounds and the "Data Stream" i was able to sort of look at. i unplugged each coil also one by one while the car was idling and it didn't move the needle one bit but the car was sort of hopping but no rough idle. so i plugged all the coils back in and you can still hear the misfire
PLEASE HELP

P030X can - probably 7 of 10 times - be traced back to the coil packs. Bench test them (or if you can load test them, great); point is, you can't always detect fault by the "detach" method. The P0300 DTC usually starts intermittently as well when pack is going bad (low or no output) - CEL on, CEL off. Then, when the pack(s) that were going finally goes out entirely, the resulting DTC shows the actual location, e.g. P0305 (cylinder 5).
Also, when you replace the wiring to the coils, be particularly careful of cylinders 4 and 6 (two closest to driver on LHD) as they split off the harness at the same point and are notoriously switched inadvertently. I put a tape marker on my #6 just to make sure.
If you do need to replace any/all coil packs, there's a couple of vendors on EBay that sell OEM coils (PN 22448-AL61C) for pretty cheap. ( I bought a set last year.... can't remember how much but somewhere near the linked one.)
Good luck.

UPDATE: the light never came back on, I scanned the car no misfire I drove two hours to conceptzperformance to pick up my new oem hitachi coils replaced all 6. Didn’t touch my spark plugs because obviously they are still new. I checked them no oil they are good. I turned the car on it turned over but the rpm was just barley bouncing up & down. I didn’t drive the car after installing it.
