Its no wonder that 350Z sales are down so much in the last 2 quarters. I live close to the largest Nissan dealer ship in North America and they do not have one 350Z on the lot.

They are killing this car and I believe they would rather to just let it die again and stop producing Z cars again rather then fix the problem.

My apologies for bumping my own post but the similarities between the imaginary discourse above, which started out as joke, and the text found in my work order of 3/23/04 are just a little bit too creepy. From the repair document

INSPECTED TIRES, FOUND NORMAL HEEL/TOE WEAR ON SOFTER AGGRESSIVE TREAD TIRES. TIRES NOT FOUND TO BE FEATHERED NORMAL WEAR FOR SOFT COMPOUND TIRES. CHECKED ALIGNMENT AND MADE SLIGHT ADJUSTMENT TO TOE TO GET TO NISSAN SPECIFICATIONS.
So if they found "normal heel and toe wear" but found no "feathering" then what is feathering? It's funny that I never used the word "feathering". I only referred to it as heel and toe or shoulder cupping. Nissan chose to use that word in the work order.
