Thumbs up There is hope !

Well folks after several visits to the dealer complaining about the problems with my Z it's finally paying off! I had the 2nd and 3rd gear grind, the POS amp, the rearview mirror that rattles, a rattle/squeek on both door panels, and the tireroar with no notice of tire feathering as of yet ( Just sounds like a 4X4 with 44's going down the highway around 50 kph ). I did have to complain to NNA a couple of times to finally get my dealer on the ball but I can't say enough good things about my dealer anymore. They installed the newest tranny with the clutch pedal assembly and pressure plate. I have only had the car for a day but the tranny feels like silk with no grinds as of yet. What a pleasure to drive trying to avoid grinding while I shift. I had my amp replaced and now I'm not embarressed to turn my stereo up with passengers! Wow what a difference, there is more bass and its much more punchy and crisp with the vocals noticeably clearer. The rearview mirror is on order along with the door piece. I tried to get my dealer to order the mirror with the digital compass on Courtesy Nissan's web page but since it's not an option on the Z's here in Canada they said NNA wouldn't accept their claim. All I need to get fixed now is the tire roar problem by getting new front tires and a 4 wheel alignment.

I love my Z again !
