In my quest to eradicate my car of rattles...I had my dealer replace the sunvisor mirrors...so they are quiet. Now my problem is this: an incessant rattle (and I do mean incessant) from the small storage compartment located under the passenger's rear speaker. It sounds like a metallic rattle, and if I play with the compartment door I can recreate it. Anyone experience this before and is there any way I can fix it? Anyone know if there's an easy way to remove this device to check it out?

My dealer has been really great and I don't want to be a total pain in the a$$ to them...but it's hard to live with all this noise!

Ok searched and found out how to remove the parcel compartment (very easy). It appears that the bracket for the shelf was rattling...since its bolts appeared welded on my solution was to wedge a piece of cloth under the bottom of the bracket.

Noise gone, and knock on wood my car is silent even with the radio off!
