Default Tires On 'Backorder' (TSB)

Has anybody been fed the line of BS that the tires are on backorder with Bridgestone all over the country. No expected delivery date, don't know when.

This is with those fxxxers Maroone Miami.

Any alternatives or suggestions?

I am going to stop by Firestone/Bridgestone also.

Yeah they gave me that line way back in december before any of this ever started with the warranty extension. only thing i can suggest is see if they can get you another bridgestone tire. its about how you feel about that though. in my case the fronts were worn down to the cords on the original crappy 040's so i told them that the car was not leaving their service dept. untill new tires were put on it one way or the other, not safe to drive. what they did was after or rather with the alignment they put on the potenza all weather i believe RE92's. actually a harder compound tire and wears about 100% better than the crappy-a$$ 040's. I have 25k miles on her now and this was done with14K on her and to date no problems with re-feathering. main downside to the tire is that they dont make the staggered size to put on the rear.

Good to know (well not good) that I am not alone. I think I will stop by Firestone tonight and see what the have or say. Originally he asked if I wanted Michelon Pilots , but they would only pay for fronts. Since I want to sell the car the car I decided to stick with Bridgestone.

BAD MOVE?
