Had the exact same prob for three months. Dealer could not figure it out. New computer, new throttle body, then new harnesses. On the final shot before Lemon Law arb. The Nissan North America Specialist found the Oxygen Sensor connector was loose. Good as new ever since. Good Luck. If that's not your problem, I'll be praying for ya, Dave Please let me know how things go. It was a b*tch of a time for me drbtc@adelphia.net

I'm having the same damn problem. The strangest thing is that my car will not rev past 6K rpms. It gets to 6K and the rev limiter kicks in. The first time I hit the limiter I just thought that I wasn't paying attention. The second time I watched as the tach needed bounced around at 6K and then my slip, vdc and ses lights came on. There was a noticeable loss of power and I immediately pulled over and shut it down. After I restarted the ses was still on but the power had come back. My dealer recently reinstalled my stock flywheel and clutch when installing my 2nd tranny under warranty. I previously had the JWT flywheel/clutch and thought that maybe the ECU just hadn't adjusted to it yet. So I disconnected the battery to clear the code. After clearing the ses light it still hits the limiter at 6K but the lights hadn’t come back on until yesterday; when I was racing a C5 of all times. Now the ses is still on and I’ll be taking it to the dealer once my axels come in from back order. I did recently change to 225/40 and 245/40 series tires but the stager is close enough to stock that it shouldn’t be causing a problem. I’m fed up with all of these stupid problems and will be getting rid of this car within the next 6 months.
