Well, I've been talking a lot with Brian from Mackin & he says these should fit mine fine. I have/had 20's so I guess it may have something to do with how the allignment was set on those wheels. We'll see what happens...

 

looks good, did you get rid of the iforged? I see you're not going as wide on the tires, but wider on the wheels.... going for the stretched look?

Thanks for the comments guys. Hopefully will be getting my car back from the bodyshop next week (crosses fingers). After that I'll be tweaking my suspension a bit so it sits perfectly. Yeah, those are overlays on the reverse lights. They are Bat's lightest smoked overlays (3/10?). I wanted it smoked since IMO it makes it blend a bit more with the rest of the car.

i had no trouble with mine...but my kit is black so not that hard to match.

don't they just use factory paint...or not?

 

I wish I knew what paint they used at the factory!!!! I've been using PPG Chroma Base - really good paint that we've used for years. Problem is, there are 3 variances of Silverstone according to our supply place (Albert Kemperle - not sure if they are nationwide but they are a big distributor in our area of body shop supplies). I've had all 3 variances on my car so far - none were an exact match. Last time I had the gas cover scanned in by their camera system, and it still was not perfect (not enough flake and was a bit too brown in its tint). We've always done our own paint stuff, and I've never run into a color so hard to match. My only downside here is we dont have the array of final tints that a good body shop does - for the new stuff I'm putting on, I may have to bite the bullet and have a body shop paint it

 

wow james i never saw your car before you had the sf challenges. i never knew you had iforged those are sick but i think the volks go better with your look. good job keeping it clean man.

Where did you purchase the chrome rims that you had before switching to the silver 5 spokes? They look great.
