Black cars are always more difficult to photograph and this kit is very subtle. IMO it looks best on ALL cars but black is in my top 3!

quick question. How do you tell if a vertex kit is authentic?

I was under the impression that all the body parts have a serial number inside/behind the pieces like so:

Could someone help me identify whether or not a kit is authentic?

Thanks!

Well, the authentic Vertex kits ALL have the serial numbers that you've shown above. If you have any doubts that a kit is real or not, you can contact Vertex USA & they can verify the serial number for you (http://www.vertexaerokits.com/about.html). You can talk to a guy named Dat Nguyen who helped me out.

they should be behind the bumper, so you wouldn't have to paint over it right?

thanks for the info!

Yeah, I wouldn't put an emblem especially if it's one of those nissan burgers. It looks so much cleaner without an emblem.

yea. it looked o.k. on the OE bumper cuz it was recessed. sitting out there on a vertex bumper makes it look like THE LOSE.
