I could do that, but I don't want something cheap....taking into account that shipping materials (large tube and packing paper) plus shipping cost will be the better part of 10 dollars and the print itself will be 15 or so, $30 is the cheapest way for that to happen.

Very nice man! You really know how to use an SLR. And your PP work is excellent as well. I'd love a wallpaper for the second pic there, 1280x1024 preferable.

Nope, it's just the polarizer I shoot with. I have had several people ask me that recently...here's a couple of other photos from the same spot, though they aren't really touched up. You might see some dust, etc. on the lens...

Besides, if I could do something that impressive in CGI, I wouldn't be taking pictures!!! I am terrible with 3D software

that makes sense when I look at the headlights on the car and the rainbows on them. I've just never seen pictures look like that, with that kind of texture, etc.

I am able to bring out the texture, especially in small/detailed objects like pebbles or asphalt, by using a special overlay method I thought up in photoshop. It creates contrast without sacrificing very much on the top end, giving things a "bleached" look.

Thanks guys I am working out a deal to either decrease the number of people required to make this happen, or to make the price of a print (on regular old poster paper) less expensive.

I will post again when I have some info or can accept an order for a print!

Cheers,
Richard

Maybe we can do COD or something just to make both the buyer and seller feel comfortable with this. Cuz i've don'e similar stuff and things either come up or something happens on both ends. So this way people are assured they get either their money or your awesome pictures....

No need for that; I won't be collecting until I have the product ready to ship. I have done this before with other prints with excellent results.

Some of them are available here:

http://www.frenchquarterfrenzy.com/store.php

That's how I handle orders, like any other piece of merchandise. To alleviate the buyer/seller problems you've mentioned, I never leave room for shipping or buyer error -- everything is shipped UPS or USPS w/delivery confirmation. The only reason I want to get preorders in is to make sure that there are buyers. I consider this artwork more than a poster, and the idea of a small "edition" is appealing to me as it maintains personality.
