Besides, if I could do something that impressive in CGI, I wouldn't be taking pictures!!! I am terrible with 3D software

I am able to bring out the texture, especially in small/detailed objects like pebbles or asphalt, by using a special overlay method I thought up in photoshop. It creates contrast without sacrificing very much on the top end, giving things a "bleached" look.

Thanks guys
I am working out a deal to either decrease the number of people required to make this happen, or to make the price of a print (on regular old poster paper) less expensive.
I will post again when I have some info or can accept an order for a print!
Cheers,
Richard

Maybe we can do COD or something just to make both the buyer and seller feel comfortable with this. Cuz i've don'e similar stuff and things either come up or something happens on both ends. So this way people are assured they get either their money or your awesome pictures....

Some of them are available here:

That's how I handle orders, like any other piece of merchandise. To alleviate the buyer/seller problems you've mentioned, I never leave room for shipping or buyer error -- everything is shipped UPS or USPS w/delivery confirmation. The only reason I want to get preorders in is to make sure that there are buyers. I consider this artwork more than a poster, and the idea of a small "edition" is appealing to me as it maintains personality.

You really know how to use an SLR. And your PP work is excellent as well. I'd love a wallpaper for the second pic there, 1280x1024 preferable.
