actually i didnt even ask for opinions or any remarks that isn SO negative and mean... such as "rice on budget"

actually i stripped the plastic off to install the wing, then i thought eh... lets go for the fully stripped look as see how it feels... (now i regret it cuz the noise is ridiculous)

so im putting it all back up...

this is a daily driver... (no money right now for winter beater either)
but im definately hitting the tracks in the spring every weekend
we are actually forming an auto-x team
so... those in the area who want to join feel free to contact me...

oh about the wheels and weight...
im getting a set of 5zigen 17s for track work in the spring

Once you post something on a "forum", it's kind of a default for opinions. You could just ask for people to only post positive opinions, but that would defeat the purpose of the "forum", and you will just be fooling yourself anyways.

As for the subject about the wing... I didn't know auto-x courses were so fast that you need a wing to help you out. All the ones I have seen are mostly first and second gear courses. You rarely stay in third gear for long until you have to brake going into a turn.

I thought when you mentioned "track" you were actually going on a real track where they have long straight aways that a wing would help when you actually get high speed.

If the wing is actually for looks, hey, that's your car. Do what you want with it. But I haven't seen a huge Formula One wing like that at the local auto-x.

de-rice your car and you wont get those comments. The stickers and giant wing will give most car enthusiasts a good laugh.

Yeah, I'm pumped for the Solo2 this summer(after I put on my headers and plenum). As for flying, It will have to wait until spring to see what I can do for fun since every spare change always goes into modding the car. But I don't want to hijack this thread anymore.

I like the black wheels and the "theme" you have picked.

Dont worry what anyone says about your car man - at the end of the day, its your car and your money. Mod it for you - not them.

Now you gotta get some video of you drifting accross Villanova's campus!!!
