(03) from the factory with a matching front and rear bumper. Bank Account will be open tomorrow, $1000 will be deposited, first to bring me to the car, gets $1000.
I don't mean to be rude, but it's just gone way beyond with the "it's off" thing.
I am totally serious on this. Find me the car please. Thank you. The reason it doesnt match (the front and rear bumpers are slightly darker than the rest of the car. FROM THE FACTORY! Then the kit doesnt match because its the same color of the body. So you have, Light, dark, then light, and it is obviously off.
Thank you.
You're absolutely correct. My factory sideskirts are WAY off! My front and rear bumpers are close, but not exact either. So I know what you mean--your kit matches your BODY, but not the bumpers, so its kind of like alternating colors (body=light, bumper=dark, kit=light). LOL

If you're in SJ, i can refer you to a shop that i go to, match 100% every time (regardless of color). Since you throw out $1000 like that, pack your kit, ship to my bodyshop here, i'll paint it for you.

I had my guy use PPG on my spoiler, and he matched it to my hatch 99%. However, when you look at the rear bumper compared to the spoiler, they look way off (depending on angle of lighting). I'm probably going to get my (stock) rear bumper repainted possibly.
they shouldn't. Check out James (GTNPU Z ) car. It's SS and the color matching is perfect. Body kit and spoiler.
These are the 3 colors being painted at our bodyshop here. Color matching is perfect.

Yeah, I don't know. It's really weird. Take a look:

But then again, Jame's car has the rear bumper repainted since it's a full replacement. I have a stock rear bumper, so paint-match isn't good from the factory.

Nope. Spoiler is a dead-on match. lol trust me. It matches the hatch perfectly. The reason it may look slightly off is because of the angle and the shadow. The curvature of the spoiler is slightly different from the hatch, so it reflects the light differently. When the sun is directly above you, you wont notice a difference at all. In fact, in these pictures, everything looks like a perfect match (even though in reality, I know it's not perfect):

I still don't understand why I'm getting these replies with blue cars, red cars, I clearly mentioned Chrome Silver, not even SS. My friend's SS came out perfect. I must say again, what body shop? I painted my kit, and so did I painted my friends kit. I did use PPG paint, and PPG Clear. The FACTORY plastic parts do not match the metal ones on Chrome Silver Zs. Period.
End of story. I am repainting both bumpers next week. We will see the outcome.
Thank you all.
